A native of Crofton, Sara has dedicated her career to nurturing the next generation. She currently serves as a Pre-K Paraeducator in Montgomery County and holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Her passion for education continues to grow as she works toward completing her teaching degree.

Sara’s deep-rooted belief in the power of compassion began at a young age while watching her mother, an Army Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner. Observing the profound care her mother provided to patients and their families taught Sara a lifelong lesson: everyone you meet is fighting a battle you may know nothing about. This perspective shaped her philosophy that kindness doesn't have to be a grand gesture—it can be as simple and impactful as a warm smile or a sincere "hello."

When she isn't in the classroom or studying, Sara is a busy mom of five amazing children. You’ll most often find her on the sidelines cheering them on, though she also treasures quiet moments spent crafting, reading, or enjoying the peace of her backyard with her husband, Keith.

Sara lives by the wisdom of Fred Rogers: “There are three ways to ultimate success: The first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind. The third way is to be kind.”
